When Filippa Hallstensson (everyone calls her “Fifi,” and always has) was a child, her aunt and uncle, both archeological photographers, would take her to Athens each summer to dig for artifacts.

Now at the helm of GANT Rugger—vintage American Sportswear inspired collections for men and women from iconic retailer, GANT—she’s back to digging; working with designs from the past to make them applicable today. “I’ve always had this strong concept of beauty,” Hallstensson says. “But my plan was never to be a designer… Now I can’t think of anything else I rather do.” ●
